Please join members of the Harvard Club of Australia for their annual Thanksgiving Dinner. This year our guest speaker is Michael Traill AM, who received his MBA from Harvard in 1987.
Michael is Chair of the Federal Government’s Social Impact Investing Task Force, Founding Chief Executive of Social Ventures Australia and the author of ‘Jumping Ship’for which he won the Ashurst Business Literature Prize in 2017.
He is also Chair of Goodstart Early Learning; Executive Director For Purpose Infrastructure Fund; a Director of Sunsuper and Adjunct Professor, Centre for Social Impact
Based on his experience of applying business discipline for social purpose, Michael will paint a challenging picture of how we must think about the need for ‘Capitalism 2.0’ which combines the best of the two worlds he has inhabited.
This is also an opportunity to join fellow Harvard Club members and their partners, to renew acquaintances, meet new Harvard Club alumni and their guests and other Harvard alumni based in Queensland to share in the true spirit of Thanksgiving in the magnificent Members Dining Room of the Brisbane Club.
Join us at the annual Varsity Bowls Challenge for an evening of light-hearted (!) rivalry between Alumni of Harvard, Yale, Oxford, Cambridge, Stanford and INSEAD at the Windsor bowls Club
Bowling from 5-6pm. Food at 6.30pm
Come along for the social engagement and get caught up in the bitter rivalry! Team selection on the day and even if no bowling experience you’ll be most welcome!
