You are invited to join members of The Executive Connection for their next speaker session, led by Ashton Bishop, TEC master speaker on Predatory Marketing and Customer Centricity
THE TOPIC, Outsmart vs Outspend
How marketing ACTUALLY works for challenger businesses.
This session is a follow-up to the famous Predatory Marketing with a focus on how to set-up and manage marketing to grow your business.
Backed by the latest research on effectiveness from around the world — if you’re not doing this, you’re not going to be growing as well as you could or even worse you might be pissing money and opportunities away.
The old ways are dead and we need new ways to think in a new age of marketing. Predatory Marketing is the great leveller enabling smaller brands to compete with bigger competitors. It's never been about the medium - always the message. So if you and your brand can get predatory, you'll be guaranteed to get results.
Strike at the weakness that arises from your competitor’s greatest strength. Predatory Marketing is what big brands and fast startups use to differentiate themselves from the marketing noise.
What you will learn
All 4Ps of marketing need to be working together
Integrated marketing and communications helps your audience gain awareness of your brand, consider your product/service and encourage action
Diagnosis before strategy, strategy before tactics
Distinctiveness trumps differentiation
There’s two speeds of marketing that need to work together (60/40 ratio)
Branding should be emotional
Sales activations should be targeted
OUR SPEAKER, Ashton Bishop
Ashton Bishop is Australia’s Predatory Marketer – an expert in pinpointing how brands can grow by outsmarting their competitors.
Ashton’s observations are that the old ways of working are struggling, as are the old ways of thinking and learning. With artificial intelligence gaining momentum, we need a new approach to human intelligence — one that will develop the special human attributes essential in creating unique value.
With over 20 years of strategy, marketing and communications, and leadership development expertise Ashton has run and has helped businesses create literally hundreds of millions worth of new value for some of Australia’s, and the world’s, fastest growing and most successful businesses and brands.
He has have created and delivered several world-class leadership programs through the Institute of Change, an interactive online learning platform that features a series of comprehensive and engaging masterclasses and courses designed to empower Australian leaders in their leadership journey.
He’s also run million dollar campaigns for billion dollar brands, created Australia's first mobile app, won film awards, guest lectured at leading universities and has won TEC speaker of the year on three occasions.
