You are invited to join members of the Executive Connection for our next speaker session, led by Chris Butterworth on Creating a Culture of Continuous Improvement.
The Topic - Creating a Culture of Continuous Improvement
Chris has recently co-authored a highly successful book about how simple habits can embed a culture of continuous improvement. In this workshop he draws from his two prize-winning books, Four plus 1 habits and the Essence of Excellence.
In a very interactive session he covers the five habits
Why visual management boards are so critical, to go with,
Team huddles - everywhere!
Use of “standard operating procedures” which drives
continuous improvement.
Underpinning this are the “Gemba” (Literally translated as “where the work is done”) walks performed by the leader
Chris shows when these habits are Joined-Up, they combine to change the culture of an organization through practicing and constantly reinforcing ideal behaviors.
This workshop will explain how the habits link together and will demonstrate:
how to create visual management boards
how to run huddles around these boards to get team engagement
the key elements of Gemba walks for sustainability
