Marketing is going to be the most critical element to compete in the new global economy in the next months
Frustrated by the inability to build relationships and generate leads because of COVID-19 and the lockdowns? Join the club.
Most good business leaders have managed to survive, preserve cash and look after their people during the last 150 days. Now they are encouraged to plan the “bounce back”. But how? Travel restrictions and ongoing lockdowns prevent the old “appointment” making approach. The single biggest impact of COVID-19 is to accelerate underlying change in the way we do business, not just in consumer behaviour. Engaging with and understanding our customers is more critical now then ever since many customers are either re-thinking how they do business or they should be.
The rules have changed but the fundamentals haven’t. The opportunities for good businesses with great leadership have never been greater.
We’ve invited Grant Leboff, one of the U.K’s leading Sales and Marketing experts, to join us for a Joined-Up conversation on “Sticky Marketing”.
We want you involved in the discussion
4.00 pm -4.30 pm Grant will share a short presentation
4.30 pm - 5.30 pm - Questions, Discussions and Takeaways
Jon Lindsay will facilitate a Zoom conversation with Grant, who is currently firmly anchored in the UK, on what this means for Australian businesses. We will discuss how Australian business leaders can respond to the apparent uncertainties of their market with confidence. Come prepared to discuss with Grant and ask the questions you always wanted to ask!
You will leave with clarity, confidence and armed with ideas and resources that will help you blow the competition away!
About Grant Leboff, Expert on Sticky Marketing
Grant is a highly sought after consultant, mentor and speaker, and (usually!) makes presentations at conferences and events all over the world. He has been a regular on the Vistage UK speaker circuit with exceptional feedback for useful implementable take-aways. Because his globe-trotting has been curtailed in recent months we’ve decided to grab him while we can!
A thought leader in his field, Leboff’s main focus is to address the massive changes that are taking place in a world that is constantly being introduced to new technologies. He has a great reputation for continually challenging Sales & Marketing conventions that have become accepted wisdom, but don’t necessarily deliver results.
Leboff’s Sales and Marketing portal, stickymarketing.com produces a wealth of resources and information on effective Sales and Marketing for organisations in an ever changing business environment.
Grant has just launched his fifth book, ‘The Myths of Marketing’ which was published in January of this year.
His fourth book, ‘Digital Selling’, debuted at #1 on the Amazon charts prior to being published in September 2016. This follows the success of Leboff’s previous titles.
‘Stickier Marketing’ (2014) went straight to #1 in the Amazon Sales & Marketing Chart, and was in the top 10 overall Business Chart, on publication. ‘Sales Therapy’ (2007) and ‘Sticky Marketing’ (2011) were both in Amazon’s top 10 Business Books, and #1 in the Sales & Marketing bestsellers chart.
Grant is a regular contributor to many business magazines and newspapers. Amongst others, he has been featured in the Daily Telegraph, The Independent, The Financial Times, The Daily Mirror and The Sun. He has appeared on BBC Radio on numerous occasions as well as being featured on a significant number of US radio networks.
Having built a successful direct marketing company, which he started in 2002, Leboff sold it in 2008. As well as undertaking work as a Non Executive Director, he now has a number of other business interests.
